Scraps of beauty...
Am trying to give some form to my loony penchant for going around clicking anything and everything. Especially the strange fascination I have for scrap/junk and the exquisitely rich hues of rust.
My pictures here are an attempt to share the beauty that surrounds us. Beauty need not always be realized through a life-changing moment or a great epiphany. It’s not always hidden in a rainbow or in an earth-shattering experience...
It’s amazing how when I stopped the search, and actually just began to see things, I was blown away by how beautiful they are! A yellow leaf spiraling to the ground, a fresh sprig stretching towards the sunlight, a precariously perched dew drop on a blade of grass, a kid laughing at simply nothing, a tiny nondescript dry seed pod, a spot of lush green moss, a bean pod bursting at it's seams, a tenacious tendril corkscrewing it's way to the nearest support, a scrap if twisted metal hidden in a pile of junk...
The simplest of things in life sometimes have the most profound beauty. But you can only see them if you’re really there and look around you once in a while.
