Was it the OCD or something else that lured me back?

Pretty pastel pink "Cleome Hasslerina or Spider flower" are this year's proud new entrants...

Deep pink/magenta cosmos with their slender stalks, trying to reach up to the tip of the tower...

In this garden, "Pink Cosmos" happily bob their pretty heads year after years after year...

This lone White Cosmos was too shy to join the crowd and kept hiding between the fence n' huge stone wall...

"Cleome hassleriana, commonly called Spider Flower"

One of my favourites- delicate "Corn Flower" in its purple avatar...
Corn flower petals, along with marigold and bougainvillea petals are popularly used to embellish/mottle hand made paper

Slender spires of mauve "Salvia", lending a pretty floral frame to Pavate's statue...

Wispy "Lady's lace/Queen Anne's flower trying to tower over my muse...

A burst of pretty pastel shades...! White and mauve "Salvia"

This year the garden sports loads of sprightly little White and yellow "Goldstrum"

Year 2012 or...?

The garden being spruced up for the up coming "Garden Show"

The OCD is back, albiet with a sweet scent...

The very sturdy and stately "Royal Trumpet Vine" a regular in my monsoon albums, the first to greet me...

Wispy "Pink Cosmos" swaying in the breeze...

Tall spires of purple "Salvia" highlighted in the soft glow of the setting sun...

There, now we're taller than you...!!

Bright n' crisp "Helichrysums" commonly called Everlasting flowers, spreading a unique beauty that's there to last...
Keeping up with their name, these blooms get prettier n' prettier as they dry on the plant and last for a very long time... These yellow/pink/mauve/white flowers are popularly used in potpourri and dry flower arrangements.

Fields of delicate "Lady's lace/Queen Ann's lace" with a scent as subtle as subtle can be, adding a pretty Victorian touch...

Ah, nostalgia... One for old time's sake...

Playing peek-a-boo through a pretty tangle of strikingly coloured "Dwarf Cosmos"

The garden in front of the University tower is bursting with colourful blossoms. The evening air was thick with the sweet scent of these pretty blooms gleefully bobbing their heads in the faint glow of the setting sun. And, my erudite muse looked on with pride...

This surely calls for another walk in the morning, when these beautiful flowers smile as they patiently wait for the gentle warm touch of the rising sun...

Drama on my wall...!
