When Mum hired me to capture her dream...

And finally today the slab was laid on the first floor of Mum's house, in the middle of constant chatter, deafening shouts, colourful clutter, tinny clatter, intermittent clouds of smoke, rising dust, lil tiffs and heated arguments,
and loads of unexplained sounds...

The lovely morning light was at its best behaviour, turning even the grimy concrete mixer bowl n' the greasy chain belt into a temptation... And my camera (Now a bit shaky after the fall...) n' me
got busy for a whole four hours...

At the end of the day, I of course was very happy, but the best part was
seeing Mum all smiles as she viewed the pictures on my laptop... :)

Looking at the colourful paraphernalia being rigged from inside the house...

Trying to set up the large concrete mixer in the narrow patch of space. It was indeed a huge challenge, but kudos to the guys, they managed it superbly...

Oiling the mean machine before starting it up...

Taking care to fill even the tiniest nook n' cranny...

Precarious perch...!

Testing the pulley...

Framed...!

Vertigo...
Not in the dictionary of construction workers for sure...!

And I gave in to the temptation...
The concrete mixer bowl...

And I gave in to the temptation...
A portion of the concrete mixing machine...

And I gave in to the temptation...

As the lovely morning light played hide n' seek... I gave in n' played along...

These stunning streaks of light added a magical aura to the place...

Spindles of light ready to weave stories of their own...

I could have spent hours chasing these flitting strobes of light as they formed interesting patterns on the coarse gravely floor...

Looking beyond the clutter...

Looking onto refreshingly peaceful greenery through the clutter...

And before I left, I turned around one more time to capture the mad yet aesthetically colourful chaos...

Life's one balancing act...!

Aw shucks ! How in heavens did I land up here? Well,
If this is the start to a beautiful end, then so be it...

A one... A two... and a threeeeeee...

Weeeee...! Look at where I landed ! Well folks, what do you say?
Am I not the best around here...?
Well, erm, on the aside, thank goodness my landing strip was broad enough...

Yipee...! Look at what I've found ! Another blade of grass,
just when I needed it and just where I needed it...
Now I can try my well practiced "Tarzan-act"

Aaaaah-ah-ah-ah-aaaah-ah-ah-ah-aaaah...

Oh no...! I think I've gotta practice some more...! Heeeelp...! I'm slipppping...

Whoa ! Whoa ! That was something...! Saved by the spots on my wings...!!
This slender lil blade of grass turned out to be really stronger than I thought. Looks can be deceptive, eh?

Folks, don't go by my slim n' dandy looks, ok?
I can be pretty tough when I need to be.
Just look at the balancing act I'm up to right now... And all for what...??

And now what's this?
When I thought I was going uptown all this while, it now looks like I'm heading downtown... just hope I'm on the right track and reach on time...!
No way guys ! There's no way I could make a mistake with that scent... Hmmm... Sigh... I know it from a mile...

Oops-a-daisy...! Now, now, easy goes it... I can't hurt these pretty lil flowers !
There's loads of nostalgia attached to them yellow beauties.
Memories of the first time are still fresh... Sigh...!
There I go, getting all mushy again...
Tut tut ! No lingering...! It's getting late...

Darn n' double darn ! How did I not remember this dead end...!!
There's always one just before I'm there...!! N' now it's getting really late...

I can't afford to be late... There's no way I can get upset...!
Calm down... Calm down... It's just a slide down, a climb there,
a lil more balancing and then... I'll be there...!!

Oooo...!
